When I first went full-time with my business, I decided I was going to put all of my energy into elopements, weddings, & couples. This year, I decided that I wanted to start capturing other milestones again for my clients, but still stay true to the way I tell stories. Kayla reached out to me & asked me if I did maternity sessions. Of course I said yes, but it was so refreshing to step back in the world that I feel like I stepped away from for some time. We spent the evening exploring Moss Rock Preserve, talking about marriage, & how excited Benj & Kayla were to meet baby Adalina. Blue skies, summer greens, & all the golden light popping through tree tops. Not to mention that the temperature was unusually cool for a summer day. So thankful that these two trekked through the woods with me. Least to say I’m really obssesed with doing these kind of shoots now. Since this day, I have met & photographed baby Adalina! Can’t wait to share all of the cuteness with you guys! Your heart is going to explode. But it won’t send you to the emergency room - I promise.
