In-Home Newborn Session in Hoover, AL

A couple of years ago, I had the honor of shooting Lauren & Gavyn’s elopement at Cheaha State Park in Delta, AL. When I found out they were pregnant, I was so freaking excited. One, because they are such sweet humans. Two, because I knew they would have gorgeous babies. I mean, look at Cambria! Cambria Rose. AHHH! I have such a special place in my heart for in-home newborn sessions you guys. Baby snuggles & sweet little details. Hair, lip lines, eyelashes, noses. Such precious little memories. After taking pictures with Cambria, I got to hang out with Lauren & her mom, talking about the day I look forward to having little ones of my own. It’s kind of crazy to think that one day, I’ll have memories like this. Here’s just a few of my favorites of this tiny beauty.

Backyard Summer Maternity Session in Bessemer, AL

I cannot begin to tell you my excitement when I found out that Becca was pregnant. I got to shoot their waterfall engagement session & their backyard wedding. Now I get to capture memories for them as they grow their family?! What even. Just blown away that I’ve gotten to be a part of so many seasons of their lives. The best thing about it is that we decided to do maternity pictures on the property where they will soon be building a home. Since this day, baby Roman has made his arrival into the world & I can’t wait to share birth + newborn pics with you guys! Until then, here’s a few snaps from this little adventurous maternity session.

Kayla reached out to me & asked me if I did maternity sessions. Of course I said yes, but it was so refreshing to step back in the world that I feel like I stepped away from for some time. We spent the evening exploring Moss Rock Preserve, talking about marriage, & how excited Benj & Kayla were to meet baby Adalina. Blue skies, summer greens, & all the golden light popping through tree tops.
