Having your memories captured is a big deal. There are a lot of amazing photographers out there, but it's so important that you choose the right one for you.

For whatever memory, whatever milestone is happening in your life - it’s important to ask yourself these questions when you are considering the person documenting it.

Do I connect with their work?
Do I connect with them?
Do I love the way they tell stories?
Do I love the way they edit?
Are they experienced?
Do they deliver quality work?
Are full galleries of their work available?
Are they in my budget?
Do others speak highly of them?
Do they value the things that are important to me? Can they help me build my day around that?
Do I trust their workflow/process/way of doing things?
Can I be myself around them?
Am I comfortable having this person spending a whole day with me, documenting my life?

If you can’t answer the majority of these questions with a resounding yes, keep looking until you can.
