More to Learn & Room to Grow

There is more to learn & there is room to grow.⁣ ⁣

1. It doesn't matter how long you've been an artist (or really any occupation), this will always be true. 1 month or a lifetime.⁣ ⁣

2. Growth is not linear. You will succeed & you will fail. Some things will work & some things just won't. Some things will come quickly & others slowly. Know when to walk away. Don't be afraid to try again. Don't be afraid to try something new.⁣ ⁣

3. Do research. Read articles. Read books. Watch tutorials. Invest in educational resources. Invest in a mentorship or workshop. Put in the work. Put it into practice.⁣ ⁣

4. You are personally, always changing. You should expect that this will impact your artistry. Your work will evolve as you do.⁣ ⁣

5. Creative ruts will come, regularly. It's normal. Mainly because of my last point. The only way out, is through. Make time throughout your year for personal projects so that you give yourself time & space to work through those ruts.⁣ ⁣
